Almost Cheato Trap....

I decided to add Cheato to help out with nutrients. I received size of hard ball. I decided to place it into my 2 gal with tank water and placed a Kessil 150 on it. Behold I found Aiptasia and what looked like a Manjano. I decided to break up the ball. Behold I found Red worms. I decided to dip the Cheato like I dip my SPS. I didn't see any other pest good or bad die off. I was still not feeling safe. I decided to dip and leave it in freshwater. Now I put it back in my 2 gal with fresh tank water from my tank. I'll see tomorrow if I killed Cheato. But as of now it looked green and see when I place light back on. I rather lose Cheato than almost cause a night mare. Thank god I got in habit to QT everything.

good catch Pat..aiptasia, manjos,redbugs etc... can be dealt with, but dealing with the red flatworms in the DT is a PITA..chaeto should be fine..
