Cyanobacteria Hairs

As I starve my cyanobacteria, it is taking on a new shape and color: green hairs. Here is a video of what happens when one of the hairs is transferred from the aquarium to a container, set to music.

Well thats a first. Interesting stuff, thanks for all the research you've shared on cyano. I dealt with it in both of my tanks during the early stages of the tank. It was a real pain to not find any definitive information on causes and solutions. Hope I never see it again
