Maxspect Gyre pump

I was wondering if there any people here using this pump and what setting they have set it.I'm doing pulse for now.Constant flow is blowing my sand.

3 sec pulse. I have it cranked up since I have no sand

No it's not too much. I have it on a 36"X36" cube and it's set to 60% at about 3-5 sec pulse, gives a pretty strong current. Sometimes I tone it down to 50%. I'm sure you can run it at 30-40% and be ok with your flow.
