fans in my tek light T5 High output fixture stopped working

All 3 of my fans in my tek light T5 High output fixture stopped working ,I took the plug out for the fan and checked to see if it was putting out power it was ok I had power.Is they're a transformer inside the fixture that could be bad. Any ideas

Hey Matt i have the same fixture. It was a known issue with the light and they use to replace them for free but i think they went out of business now. You might be able to fine them on ebay but i don't think they make a big difference. Only one of my fans works and i never had any issues.

i dought all 3 would go bad at once.
if the fans go on when the light gets hot, their should be some kind of thermostat that controls it. or as mentioned what ever powers the fans could be bad.

they used to come on as soon as you plugged them in.I don't think it has a thermostat

The fans are supposed to be on all the time. Theres a separate power plug in the back of the fixture for the fans i would check that out.

I talked to the people who use to make the TEK light and they told me in all probability the problem is the power source is not putting out enough power to turn on the fans or the connection to all 3 fans is no good. I can't seem to find the power source on line it is
AC power adapter model MTP051UL-120050.
Does anyone have any ideas. I went to Radio shack and they didn't have it

Any dc adapter with the correct plug. Just match the voltage.

I think I one of the members on LIRA sent me a good hit on E bay I just orderd ,now I have to hope thats the problem.
