Some corals are sensitive to LED's. If the water is fine and you mean your montipora turns white rather quickly then your current light setting is cooking them.


I killed red digi, jada mind trick and a couple of others when I increased the lights from 55% to 60%.


I have two chalice corals that do not color up or grow unless I keep them in the most outer corner of the tank, wont tolerate 35% LED light intensity.


LEDS are a tricky thing, acropora morphs into different colors with higher LED intensity hence why I raise it but I lost coral due to it, had to dial it back, you may have to move the montipora or decrease LED intensity.
