Dead clown and missing chromis

Ok. I'm a little baffled. Maybe someone has some insight for me. Have a biocube 29 running about 9 months now. Everything has been perfect never a hiccup. Just noticed one of my clowns dead. Looks perfect color and fins and just laying on the sand. Also cannot find my chromis. Other clown and my dottyback look fine. All corals look fine. Tested and these are the parameters:
PH 8.4
Ammo 0
Nitrites 0
Phosphates 0
Nitrates btwn 5 and 10.
Salinity 1.022
Temp. 77.8

Seems fine to me. Anyone?

Everything seems fine.. Fish can die of natural causes does not mean something is wrong with your tank or your params.. Unfortunately it sucks losing a fish but its part of this hobby. Params seem fine, what test kits are you using?

Api is not always a reliable test kit unfortunately.. Get red sea or salifert for testing. Could be an unknown critter in the tank as well like petey mentioned
