Riptide Battery Backup

I got the battery back up last week and have been spending the past week playing with it. When running the gyre maker at 50% the backup lasted for 14 hours and 33 minutes. When I ran it at 25% it ran for 15 hours and 41 minutes. I expected the battery life to increase by more then 1 hour and 7 minutes when I dropped the output by 50%. I am not great with electrical stuff but shouldn't I be getting more life out of the battery when I reduce the speed?

Now it is only lasting 9 hours 23 mins at 50%. Since my tank isn't set up yet I have been testing it in a brute can. Maybe this is the problem. The machine can't handle the water movement. Maybe the battery loses holding ability each time it drains.

You have not seen any info because they don't exist yet, not even in prototype let alone Beta versions. I just spoke with Coralvue about this 2 minutes ago. What compels people to make BS claims like this?
