UPDATE:

Hey everyone, well after going to the store and recieve credit for my fish. I than asked about the sick tang, where they had it stored away from the public. This tang was way bigger than what I was told on the phone. The tang is probably 6-7 inches and about 3 inches high. He has scrapes/scarring on his face I assume its HLLE. He also loks some what pale. Also Im not sure how can you tell if a tang is skinny lol Ive never had a fish this big, along his spine top half looks very fat probably an inch thick, but he then slims down a lot as you go down his body towards his vent. He is up to his second treatment of Prazi Pro...should this be the last treatment for worms or should I add another dose this friday which would be three days after treatment according to the bottle? He is getting more active, instead of sitting behind a pvc pipe, laid flat all day. He is eatting mysid shrimps no problem and nori sheets...but everything at a slow, skittish and sluggish pace.

He is in a 40 gallon breeder with pvc pipes, sponge filter and a heater set at 80. I feed him mysid once a day usually but I place a folded one inch by one inch nori sheet twice a day. Should I increase the feeding? THe mysid are dipped in selcon, should i purchase garlic med as well for dipping the mysid... i could do one day garlic..one day selcon.

Most importantly, I dont have a filter on it besides the sponge filter but i do have an AC 70 should i placed that on t with just sponges and I guess some rocks that is in my DT sumps in the filter? I havent yet did a water change on the quarentine tank...should i do water changes?

Sorry gots lots of questions for this tang..want to make sure he pulls a full recovery

Also I could grab pictures of him, he is eating well but Im unsure what to do next

Sounds like your doing an excellent job. I would feed him more maybe 2x or 3x a day. Feed him small amounts but more during the day if possible. I would bring temp down to 78. If he's eating really no need to feed the garlic. I like vita chem added to his food. It will help HLLE, Selcon is good the one your using too. I would do a little WC every week. Only concern would watch Ammonia levels. I would stop Prazi Pro and if needed retreat. Only sign of being thin. No other signs of sickness than just feed him well. Keep water par in range and each day he will slowly get there. Sounds like your doing it. As for filter I would add one. Keep him happy and stress free. Good luck.
