I Finally up graded to the 90 gal tank that was sitting empty in my house for 6 months. Moved everything from the 40 gallon breeder tank that I had set up previously to allow the move to take place. The 90 was cycled up and running with all my fish and live rock, by Christmas week. Scopas, Yellow, Kole tangs, 1 small/medium Emperor, 1 small Majestic angels, 2 spotted hawkfish, Tomato clown, Clarki clown, 1 scooter blenny, large green brittle star, some nice large pieces, and small to medium live rock, covered withe a lot of Polyps, and some shrooms. A couple of small hermits and a snail or 2 that survived all the moving. I added a medium size Sailfin tang and a small/medium Pink tail trigger. All is good, I do a 30 gal water change about 6 days ago, everything is good, 2 nights ago I hear the old clicking sound I was used to for years, coming from the tank. Ok, the Pistol or Mantis shrimp has also survived, and is back to their old ways of spending the evenings. the next morning I notice the Brittle star is no longer in it's usual location arms sticking out from the rocks. I'm a little concerned, but no big deal, it the star, doesn't seem to happy, but he's in a different spot every time I look in on them. Today I find him dying with many wounds to it's body and it's innards streaming from the holes. Wow, WTF? What happened? Who did this?
