If I scrape some out of the old tank and put it in the new tank, does that help seed the tank? If so, is there a good or recommended way to do that?

I took some scrapings out of my nano to seed my 75 gallon. Within a couple months, the entire tank was covered in coralline.

This will throw the coraline and spread it nicely creating a spore
