So far I have seen amazing reviews on tropic Eden reef flakes but premium aquatics is out of stock. I will get on their mailing list but is there anyone that carries it or can recommend a similar sand.

Need something that won't blow around when I turn up the speed on my RWs for SPS.

That is the one everyone is saying is an alternative but someone said something negative about it.

How did you like it? I think the main thing everyone says about tropic eden is how clean/white it stays and also the size of the grains are pretty consistent which also allows the sand to stay in place without moving too much when you need higher flow.

Fiji pink is not really "pink" and has problems with using high flow. I normally use it but want to do things a little different (better) or up a notch in terms of every step from wire organization to the particular corals that go in.

If you keep up on maintenance then any sand will stay the same color you started with. CaribSea Special Reef Grade Sand is not as bright in appearance as Tropic Eden. I had vortechs in my prior tanks cranked up fairly high maybe 70% and it didn't blow all over the place. If I had to choose I would probably get Tropic Eden only because of the brighter appearance. I haven't used sand in a while but if I upgrade to a larger tank I will probably use Tropic Eden.
