Can anyone Id this worm ?

It's out of rock a good 6-8" in first picture

those are bristol worms. They are fine. If you have a wrasse, they will be gone in no time.

Bristle worms are beneficial scavengers. There has been some debate whether they are good or bad, but the general thought is they are beneficial. Ive never had a problem with them.

Most wrasses do not eat them, especially not when that big.

If you have a lot, it prob means your over feeding.

This is only one I've seen only seen it a few times it's really big don't see any fish eating it

I would take the large ones out as they look for larger food sources. They dont really go for fish but have been known to nip and harass sleeping fish. The small ones are detritus eaters and are fine. When in doubt get it out!

That's a good rule how would I catch such a worm for now I think I'll leave it but if it gets bigger gonna try remove it

I use long stainless forceps to take them out.

Don't touch it, the bristles hurt like heck and get lodged in your fingers. If you do get stuck soak the area in warm vinegar and they will dissolve.
