algea problem???????

i recently set up my 120gal reef tank and is about 2 months , i have a maroon clown and a powder blue tang, turdo snails, blood shrimp, hermitt crab. i notice today that there is an algea bloom in my tank which looks like tiny individual spikes growing all over the overflow and glass. is this good algea or a start of hair algea ? i tested the water and everything is normal . thx in advance

ur tank is cycling through its algae cycles... enjoy the ride...

i find it funny when everyone posts a thread and says there levels are normal...

what are your levels...

2 things wrong - your tank is 2 months old and you have a powder blue in there -

Tangs are the worst in terms of waste producers and you are cycling - hope you don't lose the PBT
