FYI Gyre Silencing mounts

Guys please see the link this is the new mounts for the gyre XF 150 it silences the Gyre after 50% intensity.

I got my last week, and installed in on Sunday. Didn't notice much of a difference, but then again I don't have the unit turned all the way up.

So maybe ramp it up and let is know if there is a difference. or put it in pulsating mode at 70% and let us know what it sounds like.

I have it in the pulse mode, about 40%, and I can still hear it. Didn't make much of a difference.

so you are saying you got the new rubber attachments for the gyre as the picture shows. Because according to the video there is no noise.

What I hear is the paddles turning, which even with changing the attachments I can still hear them turning.

I dont find it that loud even without the new mounts...no louder than my MP40 was at least.

I dont find mine to be loud either. I typically run it below 50% but will sometimes play with it above that. If I do hear something it is the motor and is very faint. I can only tell if there is nothing else on in the room and no talking etc

Im worried now. Was gonna do the 130 on my 57g but im in a studio. Would I be better with the 150 dialed down?

I have the 130 running in my tank. It's more powerful than the 1x mp 40 and 1x mp 10 that I replaced it with. I run 100% on alternating gyre mode and it is silent. I think this is enough for a 57g for sure.

The 13o already comes with the new attachments. Thats why its so silent.

Ok so i received the new mounts yesterday and replaced them and its quiet as hell i can here anything even at 100%. I think definatly good investment for $10 all you have to do is open a case with coralvue and tellthem the sound is unberible and they will give it to you for $10 free shipping.

I just got the 150, came with the new mounts. Pretty quiet
