What the best way to handle a person who 1-took all the stuff you were giving away for free and didnt even show up with a frag ,,whatever,, but after you say "I built that myself so if you ever get rid of it call me" .. then you see it on here for $90 and the guy doesnt respond to your private messages.. what to do?

LOL you're right. I do feel like blowing up his thread with a "HEY didnt you get that for free and make a verbal deal to give it back to me because I built it myself."
i don't see anything wrong posting in his thread that you gave it to him. this way the low ballers can have a reason to low ball him.
like mentioned just swallow it and move on. lesson learned, give to who you know. it happened to me also. now i throw things out.

Not sure what you mean, I'm terrible with texting, are you asking if I'm entitled to a fee that doesn't make sense. I blatantly said "if you ever don't need this sump give it back". The dude is ignoring my private messages I send. Lesson learned. I'm just a little sour because I've upgraded my tank so I'd use that as a refugium, it's literally 1 year old and in perfect condition, I doubt he even used it. Every time he bumps it I pm him.. He got 1 person that was interested and responded to their pm. Why not mine?

In laymen's terms, shout him out. Pretty disrespectful for those who give free and turn around and sell. Unless he really didn't need it or couldn't use it. Even then he should have turned it around and gave it away for free to another member who could have used it.

The only reason I haven't blasted him outright is because I think there are a lot of good reefers on here id like to meet and don't want to get banned or argue with whatever logic is in his head. goto my page I totally forgot he even wrote it,, he had me waiting up almost 3 hours later( 11pm) than he was supposed to be there because he was supposedly lost and I'm in the suburbs of westchester and didn't want him making the trip for no reason.
