What's wrong with this guy??

So I got this PJ Cardinal from the previous owner of the tank...I noticed the last couple of weeks the domino damsel has been nipping at its tail. When I came home today I notice this ring around his eye. Any ideas on what it could be?

happened to my tang once. it went away couple days later. best luck to ur fish.

He probably banged it against something, resulting in a "black eye". In time it should go back down.
