So I am going to go with another idea I had but obviously it is not original since someone thought of it before me. Did I see it prior? No, but like anything else google something and someone has thought of it as well.

I want to add depth to my tank not by what's in the tank but from the back......

SAY WHAT? ......WHAT?

I want to add a picture of a reef that looks fades out but with the beautiful sparkle at top where the sun hits the water.

To give some examples of depth by background:

The background creates the illusion of depth. I wanted to add the most unique picture described above or something like a load of fish/dolphin, whale and a human silhouette in the deep ocean. Anything that I felt would make my reef POP or part of a bigger picture.

If you did this or something like this that you feel is unique, please feel free to share!

Yeah. If I had a huge tank I would worry more or if I didn't have an open aquascape then I would think twice. My rock work is 4-6 inches away from back glass and not hard to get access to.

I will just purchase one of those glass cleaners with a handle for the hard to reach spots.
