can i transfer coral to a fresh batch of mixed salt in a container, say i make a 1-2 gallons in a bucket and let it mix for an hour and then add the coral to it would the coral get damaged or would they be okay in there ?

i'm not doing a water change lol.

I'm asking this because i want to take out coral from my tank, and i wanna keep them in another container for maybe a week or so. thats why i ask.

LOL no dude you still don't get it.. i need to put coral in a bucket.. not my tank. I'm pulling the coral out of my tank. i don't want my tank water in there.

Why?
I think the advice given is because the coral won't react kindly to being placed in totally new water, just pull water from your tank and replace that. Sounds reasonable.

May I ask what the reason is?

i already stated the reason .. i want to get my coral away from my current tank water.

Yes dude he got it. Your not. Do a 2g water change and keep your coral in that for a week rather than fresh water. And as Chef said you need to explain yourself better. Why would you not want to use water that better matches what your coral is used to? A
