Does any one have one? I'm thinking about starting to use the Kents Nano 2 part for my 29 and stocking mainly Zoas with some softies and LPS. Mainly i'd like to see what people use and pros cons.

I just placed an order to Bulkreefsupply. You can do the pre-portioned bags for a very small premium, and it still works out to magnitudes cheaper than buying any of the store stuff. Just empty a bag into a gallon container, top off with RO, and you're on your way.

There are also great calculators all over the place online for calculating a dosing schedule.

All of the 2 part are generally the same stuff with generally the same outcomes, so why not do the cheapest? A gallon will last you years in a nano. With my current consumption of ~5mL per day, I'll still get a number of years out of a gallon, and it was like $3/part/gallon

Looking here it looks like dry it has a shelf life only because it pulls in moisture and clumps, though you can always dissolve those clumps again.

Otherwise, once it's mixed you don't want it to evaporate and concentrate the liquid, but no, it shouldn't have a shelf life.

I used the Kent nano, now I use kent two part cb. its exactly the same but much cheaper. but honestly if your not keeping sps/lps you probably don't need to dose.

I use ESV. It's one of the cheapest items in our hobby. Depending on your tank size atleast. It equates to a few dollars a month. I guess if you can make dollars into nickles and dimes than that's better.
