why did i go to total aquarium

been buying my frozen food there for year or so.
a couple of weeks ago I went and bought 12 hermit crabs. when I got home and put them in quarantine there was only 10. no big deal missing 2 but as I looked 3 more were empty shells, and 2 others where dead. should have looked better in the store but they where only hermit crabs.
next time I went some one was buying a bubble amenity and the employee moved a rock in the tank and found a big red worm with a lot of legs. he quickly threw the rock and this thing away and said it was not good and it stings. he has gotten stung in the past there.
today I stopped in to bi bionic 2 part. but I only wanted part 2 and was told I had to buy part 1 and 2. but I only need part 2.
we do not sell it that way. every retailer sells 1 or 2 not only together.
I use to like shopping there. thing change in this case I guess for the worst.

Yeah ive been in there and have not been too impressed. Staff did not seem to knowledgeable and i thought there prices were pretty high.

Did you speak to a manager or owner about your problem before putting them on blast over a public forum? I agree with rookie, the last two issues you had sound completely normal.

Yes I spoke to the manager and he said there was nothing he could do with a dum smile on his face. I would not just blast a company on a public forum without first trying to resolve it first. That's not right IMO .I went to another LFS and picked up my part 2 of the 2 part and I'm now done with them.

The hermit crabs don't need to be quarantined.

If you have ever had ick or marine velvet. You quarenteen every thing. Especialy if the tank they came out of had fish with the crabs. Why take the chance it does not take any big effert.

As far as I know, ESV B-ionic never comes by itself... hell, the bottles less than a gallon are actually blistered together.
I had read a while ago that they wanted to change that, but if you look at Marine Depot you can see that they have the single bottles but "not available at the moment"...
