I am going to drill a 65 Gal i picked up recently. I am thinking of doing a Herbie style overflow with an internal overflow box. My concept is to have a box 7L x 7Wx 4D.
I plan on putting a 1in bulk head with a strainer in one of the lower corners and a 3/4 in emergence drain in a upper corner with a non glued 90. I like the emergence drain idea and would like to have one and I don't mind a bigger box in the tank, but I don't have the experiance of the Herbie overflow so I don't know if this will work well. if anyone has any input i would appreciate it.
