Superman Monti

So I picked a frag up a couple months ago. I love it!! Looks beautiful and its growing slowly. I've tried to read about it but I am having two problems that I am having. Some reading have it classified as M. danai and others M. tuberculosa. Which one is correct? The other problem is I can't seem to find a picture of a colony. Does anyone have a picture of a true colony of superman monti? All I can find are pictures of frags and I'd like to see what the growth pattern is.

Really isn't much of a growth pattern. It's a encrusting monti so whatever it's on it will just encrust over it.

Definitely an encrusting monti. It is one of my favorites but I can not get the color to be as red as it should be. Any tips to getting the perfect red and blue color??

I find better Red SPS strong light and not too much blue light. Just like most SPS water par is stable.

I moved mine up. I started him on the sand bed and then moved him up to about half way up the tank. He is also sitting under a radion gen 2 with heavy blue and white light. He holds his blue and red throughout the whole light cycle. And he couldnt be happier.

Montis are lower light corals. And very invasive so whatever it touches as it grows will kill it. I keep all my montis on the bottom on separate rocks. All my montis on the floor have perfect coloring
