Return pump for 120g DT

Please make suggestions. Returns will be 2 1/2" sea swirls. Looking to conserve on the electric. Cannot afford a red dragon dc pump.

Panworld for external. if you can't do a DC pump, let the cost go and do it right.

I would go eheim. Less electricity and a lot quieter

I have a 1262. I do not think that will get enough flow through 2 1/2" sea swirls.

Isn't the 1262 about the same gph has the 9.5 mag?

I've had good experiences with Deep Blue's Triton pumps. They're quiet, affordable and energy efficient.

John what's your head pressure? If I remember 1/2 SS can handle a max of 550 GPH so calculate in the head pressure then find a pump that doesn't exceed 1100 GPH at the return height. If it's more that ten feet I like Reeflo pumps.

I just got a jebao 9000 for my 120 and i love it. Its a DC pump and uses less electric than the mag 7 i was using on my 90 gallon and pumps way more water.
