Recently moved to port jeff long island

Hey all,


I just recently moved further out east and was wondering fish stores are located out this way.. Any good ones that you guys recommend for ppl that live out this way?


Currently have my 7gal bowfront setup which I may do as a mini reef. My 110g is back in nassua county at my parents house.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

welcome to the area. There are a few of us out this way that are close to you. It really depends what your looking for. Dry goods, fish, coral etc.

Dry Goods - Aqua Hut (can't beat the prices)
Fish/Coral - Tropical Island (deer park) Caribbean Blue (bayshore)
Pet Warehouse (setauket on 347) Closest to you.

These are the three with the healthiest live stock in the area.

Country critters in Medford have very healthy fish and a nice selection of coral as well

Agreed. Country Critters usually has a good selection, but way overpriced.

For Dry Goods - Aqua Hut. Don has the best selection and prices hands down.

For Fish and Coral I go to Pets Warehouse in Copaigue. Even though is a trip, I think it's worth it. They usually have some nice colonies of SPS and Kevin is always willing to frag them on the spot if you see something you like. It also helps that MR members get a 10% discount!

Country critters is a good spot. If your down for a ride to bayshore Caribean blue Aquatics is a good place. Prices are great, and they are always helpful.
