custom ornament ideas?

Hello guys I'm looking for ideas for custom ornaments. As I have posted before, I was trying to set up a small seahorse tank (20Gal) with 1 pair and corals. This is nearly impossible without daily water changes and/or oversized equipments. So I'm scratching everything and doing bare bottom seahorse tank.

Basically, I just need ideas for long stringy but heavy things to paint.

Also I'm thinking of running a sump with mostly clams because one of the breeders told me Seahorses waste 30% of their food. Looking at them feed, I completely believe them. Has anyone ever done a mostly clam fuge?

Could you get a dried sea fan, One of my first saltwater setups 20+ years ago I had two of them. They were dark brown and very cool to look at. My long nose hawk would perch on it all the time
