Looking at a new test kits for calcium alkalinity and mag.(I've been using API). Wanted to know everyone's opinions or experiences with either of these kits. And of course which is more accurate?
Hanna= Phosphate + Alk
Salifert= Alk+ Mag + Cal + PH
Like to test one day with the Hanna . Next day with Salifert on Alk.
Not a fan of the Red Sea kits.
P.s Vio where did you get Salifert Potassium from?
I use both and both are pretty accurate...Salifert are alittle easier to use
BTW phos tests kits are a waste of $ because they don't accurately test all phosphates. A quality Colorimeter is more accurate.
No ELOS fans here?? I just got one for Magnesium and once you reread the directions its pretty good. I was using red sea for everything and the colors were changing back after like 10 seconds. KH tests are all the same.
