Community driven informative app

Hey guys

I'd like to propose a community driven app. The idea is giving aquarium fish and aquarium products a point system based on their waste production and waste reduction. And yes, there are many factors that go into this like refugiums would have a negative effect of waste production as will protein skimmers. Not to mention the different types and sizes of protein skimmers and refugiums and their effects.

So basically there are all these factors that the new aquarium owner must learn on their own by specific research. I want to put all the numbers together in one app. I understand it will not be perfect but I think if we all voted on the numbers this can be a pretty precise app to help novices. Maybe this can be done with a group of experts that can conclude the proper allotment. I don't know. I just have this idea that I know will help newbies. What do you guys think?

I think there are way too many variables and your algorithm and database will be to difficult to maintain. I like the concept though.

I think it would cost between $20,000-$80,000.
Not worth the cost, unless you like pissing away money.
