I don't think any AC magnet motors will last too long on wave maker in a high Ca tank, the direct AC Tunze can't run on a wave maker without premature failures.

exactly what i thought when i looked at it. they put a magnet on it and patented the propeller idea. i don't doubt it's efficiency, can't wait to hear reviews.

i dont think it moves on its own, i think those are the adjustable positions. you point it and set it.

The Koralia should be available at retail sometime in Jan/Feb 2007 at retailers like Drs. Foster & Smith, That Fish Place, Marine Depot, and many other retail locations, etc.

The Koralia is not recommended for stop/start wavemakers, but it will work well on speed control wavermakers.
