In the market for a par meter I'm sick of bleaching corals. Is one better then the other any recommendations. Does it pay to have my own or should I rent.? Any lfs rent that anyone knows of I'm in Nassau county? Thanks

theres a website i had found a few weeks ago that rented for about $20 a week. dont remember the name, but i found it by googling, so you may want to look into that.

I just saw that apogee makes one for biotek and it is 200 or 175 on one site. It is USB so you need a computer but it works similar to apex in that it is a data logger and you can leave it to run or just check it if you need to.

I have borrowed par meters from friends at least 2 or 3 times a year. Mainly because I have a shallow tank and want to be very conscious of bleaching zoos and chalices.
