I really like staring at my protein skimmer... Especially when it's running well and producing massive amounts of bubbles... It looks like this machine is just scrubbing away my water. Is this similar to the foot fetish? Staring at the skimmer just makes me feel so good.... Anyone else?

Staring in general gives me a lot of pleasure
Staring at protein skimmer , staring at gfo/carbon reactors , staring at frag tank , staring at DT tank, I don't think I realize how much time it takes till my wife say something about not paying attention or something like that
