11 hours actinics. 2 4 foot T-5
7 hours MH, but they come on one at a time (an hour apart) and go off one at a time (an hour apart). 3 bulbs. 250 watt 10,000k w/luminarcs.
Length of photoperiod doesn't mean anything. There are too many variables.

length of photoperiod does mean something... one being in sps corals they can only take up a certain amount of light.... per day... , less time light is on= save $$$$ on electric....

i dont disagree with you on the many variables...

2 x 96w 03 actinic PC -- 12 hours
2 x 96w 50/50 PC -- 10.5 hours
2 x 96w 10k PC - 9 hours

03s on first, then 50/50s, then 10ks -- lights go off in reverse sequence

I have to update mine.

12hrs for 96w Actinic PC

4 hrs for 250 MH

24 hrs for Moonlights

I have 2 39w T5 retro's on the way. I will probably then go to

12hrs for 1 of the T5's

8 hrs. for the 2nd T5

I might bump the 250 MH up to 5hrs.
