I have a 150 gallon Rubbermaid with about 300 pounds of live rock, a large powerhead, heater and a skimmer hooked up. I am about 6 weeks into the cure and may be another month before I use the rock.
Should I add any type of clean up crew to the rocks or any additional bacteria? Or just let it go?
Basically when I do a water change, I empty out 50 gallons of water from the live rock and pump in 50 gallons of water from my system into the rocks.
When I do my upgrade I am probably going to use about 100 pounds from my current system and about 150 - 200 pounds of the newly cured rock.
