I used to have a friend that was a very advanced reef keeper that lived a few blocks from me and helped me set up my tank (he gives talks at most of the MACNA's, has stuff in all of the books) but he moved out of state. So FINALLY about 15 years after this friend moved away I got a friend into the hobby. Having someone to help and be helped by as well as go to stores with is a really good thing. Makes it that much more fun!

Drawback of country living,,I know of only a few reefers by me at most, and closest is at least a 20 minute drive!
