SWC Skimmer Issue

Just bought an SWC 160


Put it in the sump, I hear the pump humming but I dont see any skimming.


How do I get this thing to start up?

Do what I do put a piece of airline tubing over the air silencer and just blow it. It it doesn't work put your finger over the pump intake and blow the air line tubing then remove your finger while blowing. Should start to skim afterwards. It happens from time to time with the skimmer

Hold it out of the water and plug it in then put it in the water. Should start bubbling

I have the same issue with mi e if I loose power. I just remove it from the water for a sec and it kicks right in.
