Maxspect Gyre Help

Anybody using the gyre ???? I have an xf 130 and my question is about reverse mode. I have it set up in the standard A-B combination sitting horizontally on the right side of my tank. According to the instructions if I run it in reverse mode it should draw water in from the top and push it out the bottom from both sides of the pump but all I get when I turn it to reverse mode is a weaker flow in the forward direction. Anybody have info on this ??

Yes. I get a very very very weak flow reverse mode. I have two and let them alternate and I get the pattern I want. (2 minutes one way 2 minutes the other.)

Thanks bioman but when it flows in reverse does the flow actually reverse ?

My problem is not with the weak flow. My problem is that in reverse as I understand it the pump should move water in the opposite direction which mine doesn't

Yeah sorry I meant that it does flow in reverse but it's BARELY visable. I have 2 of the 150 models and neither one can produce any type of agitation at any power level in reverse. I've cleaned them, played with the blade settings and nothing!

In the directions they actually show an arrow in the guests direction operation and shaky squiggly lines in reverse fur that very reason

I believe the reverse mode is really meant for when you use a prop configuration of either A:A or B:B
While A:B still operates, you don't get the full intent effect unless you change one of the existing props.
