Do i need air in a non filter tank?

So i need alittle saltwater back in my life, but not ready to go all in yet. I've seen some nice small tanks with fish and coral with no filtraion. I have a 10 gallon that im looking to just put on a counter with a nice marineland led and a heater. Gonna do 2 gallon water changes a week. Rock, sand, small cuc. My question is do i need to run a air pump in there? I will have a nano powerhead going. I know alot are gonna say get small hang on back filter. But this is a rimless tank and looks good with nothing on it.

I would say yes if not you wont have any air in it after its all used up, or get a back pack protein skimmer and that will put the air into your tank

I know im gonna lose ph, but im gonna be doing small water changes weekly so I'll b putting in whatever i lose no?

PH should be fine regardless but the WC would only help not hurt.
