I have 2 mp40s and 1 small tunze power head plus the wave maker. I have the mp40s at about 40 percent and I'm getting a dead spot in the back read that's why I was going to add a mp10 and replace the tunze with a mp10 also
rock work can affect flow and where you have the mp40's located, i personally wouldnt use a wave box for 2 reasons. 1 takes up to much space, 2 the stress it can cause on a tank and the seals
As you can see mp40 on each side and a regular Tunze on the upper left. The wave box is in the right rear and that's where I'm getting the dead spot. Any suggestions on maybe another way to setup the powerheads to get more coverage
i have both my mp10's on one side of the tank and placement is much higher on mine. by having them both on same side and higher you will get better top water movement and the water will circulater batter. plus it looks like your rock work is stacked against the back glass
Yes rocks are against back glass a little not all the way only a few are touching. I only have the mp40s and the tunzes now I'm gonna buy the mp10s but not if they will be overkill
