Textured paint for bottom of tank?

Anyone tried this? Love sand but barebottom is easier to clean. Stumbled upon this and looks like a great idea.....

Nah starboard looks like a big cutting board in the tank and does not look anything like sand.

Better than putting rocks directly on the glass. Have you seen it in person? It'll be purple in no time, unless your water sucks and can't grow coralline.

Whats wrong with putting rocks directly on glass? I've done this for many years.

Not everyone gets or wants the purple stuff to grow so quickly and even so it can be easily removed from the glass. Not being able to grow coraline doesn't mean water sucks....
