Water change question

Is it bad to do water changes on back to back days? Trey to get phosphate down a little

I would try to find the cause of them. Did you test your RO water?

So people use chemicals instead of water changes.

It might be the Hanna test kit. All my corals are kicking ***. I tested the Ro water it came up as .02 my tank reads .1 after a water change last night. It would be one thing if things were now fully extended and looking fm great but they are

Do you run GFO or do you have any new rock? Rock can leach phosphates. I dont know that I personally would do back to back changes, but I would do a weekly one till they got in check

Nothing new as far as rock. And no gfo I am running phosban

yeah I change mine monthly.

yes it will only absorb so much and then start releasing them back. I would change it today and your water next week. You will see them drop

I'm pulling it out today I will need to get another one or can I clean this one? Also I have a green pad in there that I will take out and clean as its turning brown. The calerpa in the fuge is growing like crazy

Toss the old and use new. Sponges you can wash

Yea I tossed it will get a new one tomorrow and cleaned the green poly. Gonna order a phosban reactor
