Dipped my coral and!

About 5 of these came off!! Any idea what I can be? This was the only piece in my tank that was getting necrosis from the base.

acropora eating flatworms.. I would take all your sps out and dip in bayer. They are the reason for the necrosis and will most likely be on other sps.

dont dose the tank. if you dont have one i would also get a 6 line wrasse or one from the halichorus species to help control

I didn't dose the tank I made a gallon of dip water and put all my acros in for 15 minutes non had the flat worm just the first piece

You can use that but bayer seems to be less harsh on sps and alot cheaper.
You should also inspect the sps bases for eggs because the dip will not kill them.

Most of these were frags so no real bases. Has anyone ever seen this isolated to one piece of coral and nothing else in the tank?

I have dealt with AEFW several times, never was it isolated to one coral. They are in your system on other corals IMO/IME. I second the bayer bug spray dip (google search). Much less harsh than aquarium brand dips.
