93g cube build (with pics)
Hey everyone, just wanted to share my experience of my 93g cube build. I started getting things together late 2014, when I came across a steal for a 24"x24" acrylic sump which I picked up for $40. This pretty much got the ball rolling on the 93.
The next 9 month it was on the back burner due to wedding plans. Once things settled down after moving into our new place, it was back on full force.
First I wanted to build my stand since the 27" stock stand was wayyy to short for my likeing. So I build it to 31" so I could get into it without too much trouble.
Wifey being part of the build
Then came the rock which was about 60 lbs of pukani from BRS (which I had to cure for 2+months) and 25 lbs of 20"+ tonga branch. I seed this with an awsome piece of pukani live rock piece from Todd31
I also managed to brake off and seed some small tonga branch pieces when we honeymooned in the Maldives
....I will forever love my wife for getting on board for that trip and letting me spend every second I had among the reefs.
Once it was filled up, I let everything settle down for the next week before I placed my corals in. I need up keeping my corals in a holding tank during this whole process and I lost 3/4 of my corals...smh
Then came my live aquaria order a week ago with the additional anthias. I will borrow my father in laws camera for better quality pictures. Till then
