Looking for Real Apex Wav reviews

Wondering if anyone here is running apex wavs on their tanks. How do you like them?
How do they compare to mp40? How is the flow. Is it more narrow or wide like the mps? Undertow?
Any info would be appreciated.

Love mine. I would say more power than mp40, flow is just as wide if not wider. Very quiet, very strong magnets. Hold on my 1" acrylic without a problem. Undertow is strong, I can't run them over 60% on my 5' 150g without a sandstorm. Great product and great price.

Very happy with my wavs as well. I believe they are a good amount stronger than the mp40s and the added side to side adjustibilty makes aiming them where you want very easy.

not to hijack, but anyone have the Gyre to compare them to?

I like the idea of adding an apex one stop gadget and the link which will grow in it's application is neat. However, the gyre for me, is great except for having to get the $150 box to control it and I don't I get as much detail (most of it unnecessary of course) as if It were fully apex capable.

I had the gyre as well. Gyre moved a lot of water but lacked any controllability. I'm personally much happier with the wav. Plus I could add another if I wanted too but definitely don't need to. No video. If I get time I'll try and post 1

I had the gyre as well. I went to the wavs for the controllability as well as the different mounting positions.

When folks say 'quiet" do they mean quieter than the REGULAR mp40??
Or as quiet or more quiet as compared to the new QD.

MP40 is loud...the whirring of the driver? Geez.

Figures. I asked this question a month ago. Could of got a set up for 300. But no. Wind up getting 4 mp40's instead

For 300 I would have took a chance and tested them out. If they weren't up to par you could had flipped them easy for the same or even made a profit.

I think I'm just goin to stick with my mps until more reviews or I see them personally in action.
