Hello everyone, i have a 37 gal tall mixed reef w/ 10gal refug sump. Tank is 1 year old next month. Glad to have finally signed up.

thank you! he used to be alot greener but a went through a small nitrate bout a few months ago, its starting to come back in though!

hopefully when i switch my lighting it will be happier, deciding between the kessilA360W

or a 4 bulb geismann, ati, or tek fixture over my 37 tall with 4 ati bulbs.

im mostly LPS in my tank at the moment minus my montis and birdsnest and one acro granulosa frag. i feel the LPS would thrive under the indirect t5ho intensity vs the direct intensity of the kessil.

any thoughts?

think a mixture of t5 and led is the way to go.

i came across this today and thought it was interesting that they mention to the (possible) fact that sps don't necessarily need a high intensity lighting more so than LPS. still reading the article currently as i write this but thought id post it anyway.
