Dosed chemiclean and lost power

Like the tittle says I dosed my reef with chemiclean today and just lost power when a tree fell down and took out my power uggggg. I have a battery operated air pump going but I don't know how bad this is ??? Am I screwed people ?

What is your water volume? Chemiclean does deplete oxygen but if you have flow you should be fine. If you can put a airstone or something to add some oxygen to the water it will help.

I have a 50 gallon display and 20 gallon sump. I was worried about the lack of oxygen, flow, filtration, and heat. Good news is I went to harbor freight and got a 4,000 watt generator for 289.00 on sale and now I have my whole tank running plus my oil heat, refrigerator, some lights, and a tv

Great that you now have a backup solution for the tank...and now the rest of the house!

Several blocks in my area lost power last night, however my block still had power. I have one of those monster generator in the shed that will take 3 guys just to get it out.
With all the wind last night I was thinking if I lost power, there is no way I'm getting that thing out and getting it setup in time.

Yeah this was a good buy. At less than 300 dollars it's well worth it. On another note where the hell is pseg ?? We have lines down all over the neighborhood since Wednesday and I haven't seen a single car or truck

Honestly it was the best purchase I've ever made since I started the tsnj

Glad it worked out Eric. I was without power for 30 hours. However, I do not have a tank anymore.
