Looking for suggestions on fish that would school/shoal. Just looking for something different for my tank. I know cardinals tend to school but they stay stagnate a lot. I'm looking for more movement and continuity with each other.

Bartlett anthias, chromis, pilot fish, dart fish, i even had a purrple and 2 yellow tangs that schooled also

I have 8 green chromis in my tank that school & 6 lyre tail anthias that school together

All those fish mentioned will shoal to an extent meaning they will stay within eye sight of each other. The few species available in the trade that do school, which means they All move in the same direction at the same time, lose that defensive trait once they feel secure in a home aquaria. The more peaceful species of Anthias such as Dispars, Ignitus etc... tend to stay closer together rather than the more aggressive species like Battletts and Lyretails.

I have 5 carib chromis, 7 lyretail anthias, 1 sohal, 1 purple tang, 1 achilles, bellus pair,
watanabei pair, zebra zebra swallowtail
In a 265 and they all stay together. weird!

I'd be worried that the most dominating Genicanthus male will make the other males revert back to female colors...

they are the same family...Genicanthus....and when keeping different pairs together, several times, I've had Bellus and Zebra males revert to female colors, because of a more dominate Genicanthus Angel...

I said the same thing!
All my fish were Qt and added in the dt the same time. I did had promblem where the achilles and sohal would go at it. so the more aggressive one achilles, went back in the qt for a week move 3 piece of rock around and everything has been good for 1 year.
All my fish were really small under 2-3".
