Extra long Neptune Aquabus cable?

Hello fellow reefers,

I am trying to add a pm1 module to my existing controller, but the cable I need will be at least 75 feet . I know aquabus cables are only 15 feet long. Has anyone used a unpowered usb cable for their systems and where did you get it from? Thanks!

Never used them, but they come recommended from RussM over at the Apex Support forum.

Probably cheaper to daisy chain shorter cables, but you'll be introducing potential multiple points of failure.

bought 2 from them - they work fine

Made mine from 5 of these https://www.tripplite.com/USB-2.0-High-Speed-Extension-Cable-A-Male-Female-16-ft~U024-016 plus the aqua bus cable, used electrical tape to keep them together just as a precaution.
