Donations

Good morning!

We are a group of students in an underwater robotics elective called the Viking Explorers. We use our ROV's (remotely operated vehicles) to observe species in our native waters. We are trying to build our own personal aquarium, and put species we collect from the Long Island Sound in it.
We had heard from another member that his friend had been able to get donations from companies for the tank his class was building.
Has anyone else gotten donations from other companies? We would like to know if we could try.

Have an old 2 x 39 W 36" T5 fixture you can have for free.

What grades are you in? if you're broke HS student's (<18), you can have my old 5 x 39W 36" T5 fixture for free. (discontinued model from Aquactinics called TX5) If you're broke and in college, you can have it for $50, since you should have part time jobs. If you're in grad school... well... go to Home depot and build it, which is how I made my first canopy.
