anomone and clownfish

i got two anomone one purple haitian and one purple tip haitian and i believe that the purple tip ate the clownfish is that unheard of or is it really possible the the anomone will eat the clownfishes

Hatian anemones are Caribbean and not a natural host. They will eat clowns.

Have had hatians of all sizes host clowns, but suppose it's possible.

Most times yes they will eat clownfish, the clownfish does not have an immunity to the sting of caribean anemones, they can build a tolerance but its a big risk.
