Marco Rocks

Jumping back into the reef game after a long hiatus. I'm going to start with dry rock and marco rocks seem to be the popular choice. My question is this: can I add these to the tank without any sort of prep? Is a muriatic acid bath necessary? Do these rocks leach phosphates?

They do leach from experience.

I think so, from past experience.

I have been fine with the last couple batches in vinegar bath only.
