Every month I document the growth of my tank. Since it is the end of the year, I went back and looked to see how it was one year ago. Huge difference.

Let's see your years growth.

Shaun great idea for a thread and fantastic mixed reef. Your tank looks amazing.

Does your RBTA continually move? Or, has it settled in at the top?

Thanks guys.

I was really astounded when I went back to the old photos. The tank really has grown, and here I was thinking that it wasn't growing fast enough, :banghead: .

Russ the RBTA hasn't moved since I walled it off on the left side of the tank. It's foot extends from the bottom of the tank to the top.

Well here are some more growth shots.

These pictures are from Dec 2005.

Kedd's SPS corals and the bottom of my newly acquired starboard bottom. Around Nov. 2005 I converted from a DSB to BB. Back then the bottom of the tank looks terribly bare, but my goal was to completely cover the bottom with xenia, LPS, clams and zoanthids.

Today you can see Kedd's corals have grown alot. They are the yellow acro in the left center and the baby blue acro in the right center of the tank. The green acro dead center was also one of Kedd's additions, it grows like a weed.

As for covering the bottom of the starboard. Well one year later it has almost completely happened, :D .

You can see the same Acan lord in the top pictures, present here. It also has grown a huge amount! as has all my zoos.

I looked through some pics and can make a few comparisons. You can see how the colors had gotten better over time since I changed husbandry. The first pic in each set was taken Nov. 3, 2006 and the second in each set was taken today.
